Vintage Ornate Inkwell with Horse

Here is a treasure, from the past.
It is an ornate Victorian Era inkwell with a horse's head.
The cast iron inkwell is about 3-3/4" square and 5" high.
The horseshoe shaped back has a
highly detailed horse head and horseshoe nail pen rests.
The bottom has hoof shaped feet.
The entire holder has floral and geometric designs.
It is in very fine, aged, condition.
The thick fancy glass bottle is in excellent condition.
The bottom is embossed: P S & W Co. Pat Dec. 11 77 (1877)
